I read a novel written by Célestine HITIURA VAITE. She has already written three novels: “L’arbre à pain “, “Frangipanier”, “Tiare”. Among these novels I prefer “Frangipanier “because it deals with the Tahitian culture. It’s very interesting because I learnt some Tahitian words and stories about everyday life. I can compare their culture to mine. Moreover in the three novels the history of a Tahitian family is told since the meeting of twoTahitians until the birth of their daughter “Tiaré “.
