Hello I want to share my passion with you: music, more precisely kaneka because it's my native music. My country is said to be the closest island to Paradise. Kaneka is the music of the kanak people, a strong feature of identity; its origin comes from the traditional rhythms of Pilou ( traditional Kanak dance, a simple and tribal rhythm). Musicians hit a bamboo, a bwan-jep or whistle with a catcall, a wesel ( in Drehu spoken language on the island of Lifou) or ne - wa pon (in nengone spoken language on the island of Mare), this instrument is also used for cricket competition.
